Every morning after breakfast, you’d almost always see a nun make her way around the devout prayer-makers as she continue her daily walk around the Prayer Hall with much familiarity. For a space where people come and go, some to prostrate and others to make offerings, it is almost natural for one wishing to take a walk to re-route their path depending on the current situation.
One day, as she was about to make her way around another nun, she noticed how the nun got up from her spot. Thinking that the nun had just finished making her offering and was about to leave, she later realized that the nun had moved to another corner of the Prayer Hall to allow her to continue her daily stroll with ease.
Perhaps other than the incense we offer at hand, this small act of kindness of being mindful of those around you is really a grand offering itself.
